Arm
wrestling combines exciting entertainment with the opportunity to
make large profits with extremely low expenses! Unlike other sports
you might have promoted, like Toughman or billiards, arm wrestling
competitors do not expect large cash payouts for
prizes. Competitors will be more than willing to pay a $25
entry fee if they know that will get at least two matches
on the table and a t-shirt for entering!
That
is not to say that larger cash prizes do not attract more competitors...
because they do! Many promoters take advantage of this fact by setting
up several smaller tournaments that lead up to one large, "Championship"
tournament that offers significant cash prizes (50-75% entry fee
payout). This strategy will bring enormous profits to you, the tournament
promoter!
Sponsorship
Arm
wrestling tournaments also offer profits through sponsorship. A
wide spectrum of businesses--from your local nutrition store to
a Harley Davidson dealership--will be open to the idea of sponsoring
your tournament.
Entry
Fees
Every arm wrestling tournament charges entry fees, and you should
do so as well! The typical tournament charges entry fees of $20-$25,
and all that competitors ask for in return is a t-shirt.
